You know that moment when you're on Facebook and you notice in your feed that someone has Liked a band's page, and underneath you notice that three or four other friends Like the same band's page... you have to check it out right?
Well that is exactly what has just happened to me right this instant and I'm so glad I did. 'Warm Seas' by three-piece, Glitches is a truly mesmeric track that has the thunderous drums akin to The Verve's 'Brainstorm Interlude' on 'A Northern Soul' and a bass hook that drags you into the song instantly. The vocals are superb - this dude can really sing, and it's unusual for me to like tracks where you can hear what's actually being sung, but this is incredibly pleasing on the ear. Naturally the guitar has a great reverb on it, spreading the track's soundscape from one edge of your brain to the other.
They are playing in London on 4th February, worth checking out if it hasn't sold out.
